Appointment of New President

Toshiba Mobile Display Co., Ltd. (TMD) has provisionally decided to appoint Masahiko Fukakushi, the current Executive Officer and a Corporate Senior Vice President of Toshiba Corporation, as the President and Chief Executive Officer of TMD effective June 23, 2011.

TMD has determined that Mr. Fukakushi will be a candidate of the President and Chief Executive Officer who will be proposed to the general shareholders' meeting to be held in late June 2011 and the following board of directors meeting.

Mr. Makoto Kubo, the current President and Chief Executive Officer of TMD, is expected to be appointed as a Representative Executive Officer and Corporate Executive Vice President of Toshiba Corporation effective June 22, 2011.
