Eco Management
We value environmental protection as an important social obligation. We are working to help prevent global warming, continuing to improve our production system to help by meeting the goals of the Kyoto Protocol and European RoHS Directive, 2006. Under our environmental slogan of ÀPresenting Dream Displays for the Future" that reflects our corporate philosophy and vision, we are contributing to society through advanced, environmental-friendly business operations. Environmental protection is an important factor that is part of our brand, and we are working to build an environmental-friendly brand image through communication with stakeholders.
Eco Management Policy
Based on the recognition that the passing on the environment of "irreplaceable earth" to the next generation in a healthy condition is the fundamental responsibility of existing humans, Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology Co., Ltd. contributes to sustainable society by ensuring harmonious coexistence of the global environment and creation of various values as a "low-temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) technology-based liquid crystal and organic EL display device manufacture" under the environmental vision of Toshiba Group.

We will assess the environmental impacts of the environmental aspects relating to our business activity etc., establish environmental objectives and environmental targets for reduction of environmental burden, prevention of pollution, etc., and improve our ECO management continuously by conducting audits and business reviews. |

We will comply with laws, regulations and customer requirements as well as guidelines of the industry that TMD agreed upon, and try to improve the level of ECO management by establishing more strict voluntary standards. |
