Eco Management
We value environmental protection as an important social obligation. We are working to help prevent global warming, continuing to improve our production system to help by meeting the goals of the Kyoto Protocol and European RoHS Directive, 2006. Under our environmental slogan of ÀPresenting Dream Displays for the Future" that reflects our corporate philosophy and vision, we are contributing to society through advanced, environmental-friendly business operations. Environmental protection is an important factor that is part of our brand, and we are working to build an environmental-friendly brand image through communication with stakeholders.
Eco Management Policy
Based on the recognition that the passing on the environment of "irreplaceable earth" to the next generation in a healthy condition is the fundamental responsibility of existing humans, Toshiba Mobile Display Co., Ltd. contributes to sustainable society by ensuring harmonious coexistence of the global environment and creation of various values as a "low-temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) technology-based liquid crystal and organic EL display device manufacture" under the environmental vision of Toshiba Group.

Notes on 7.2th Edition Revisions
Along with growing awareness about the environment on a global scale, our customers’ requirements are gradually intensifying, such as tightening evidential documents and operation rules and reporting from the REACH management chemicals（SVHC＝Substances of Very High Concern）.
Especially the previous management methods for REACH SVHC and chemical contents for recycling by Excel file base become the limitations.
So, our company has advanced the development of WEB based environmental material data base system for LCD products with Toshiba Corporation. And now its new system can start on acutual operation.
(Formal name: Management system for products materials, Abbreviated name: TMD EcoWeb )
So this new revision (7.2th Edition) changed the methods and the forms for operation of green procurement by TMD EcoWeb, and improved the time of the document making.
TMD EcoWeb was developed with industry-wide standard form (JAMA sheet) and developed
with easily recycling of the investigation data by the method of the investigation on demand .
And this system can decrease the work each other in the future, though at the start-up it
increases the labor.
Therefore, we hope to cooperate in this system with you in order to meet our customers’ requests concerning various chemical substances. We appreciate the understanding and continued cooperation of all our suppliers.
