Enforcing Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology Group
Code of Conduct and Compliance Risk Management
We have trained all our officers and employees to be fully aware of our group's Code of Conduct.we have been continuing our work to comply with our code by providing training for enhanced measures for the newly and now completely effective Privacy Protection Law while announcing timely information about complying with laws and regulations.
Rapid Understanding of Compliance Risk Information and Improvement Efforts
We have established an internal reporting system (Risk Counseling Hotline) on our intranet Website to accept and act on potential problems and risks reported by employees. It is one of our new steps to rapidly and directly understand and solve any potential compliance risks. Furthermore, to provide a higher level of Risk Counseling Hotline services, we have established a contact link with external attorneys and consultants in addition to the internal consultants we have had since its foundation. This can make the best use of the expertise of professional attorneys and consultants while improving system transparency, protection for reporters, and convenient use.
Under our system with a CRO (Chief Risk-Compliance Management Officer), who is an expert officer in compliance-related matters, and through various measures, compliance is enforced at each and every level in all our business units and with all our partners, from our president through all employees.
