Tokyo, Japan -- Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology Co., Ltd. (TMD*), the leading manufacturer of TFT LCD modules for mobile applications, today announced a low-temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFT LCD display with VGA (480x640) and QVGA (240x320) resolution capability within the single LCD panel. The display technology provides design engineers with the ability to freely choose which display resolution can be operated to best suit the intended usage. TMD will exhibit this new display in the Toshiba Corporation booth, #C38 of Hall 8 at CEATEC Japan 2005, October 4-8 in Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan. TMD will also exhibit the panel in booth, #205, at FPD International 2005, October 19-21 in Pacifico Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. |
